"Sakura Bubblegum"

As the story begins, Minami Kousaka and Princess Bubblegum are two best friends who are just starting high school together.  However, as the school year starts and the two starting making new friends, Minami worries that her friendship with Princess Bubblegum will stop being special.  After Princess Bubblegum suggests that the two of them do something that is unique to them, Minami suggests they start kissing each other in secret as proof of their special friendship.  Later, Minami and Princess Bubblegum get locked inside an empty classroom whilst they were kissing on the veranda, requiring them to cross a large gap between verandas to get to the neighbouring classroom.  After Minami and the others note Raven behaving oddly, Starfire, who is currently living with her, states Raven is mad at her because she kissed her on the cheek whilst she was sleeping.  After speaking with Minami and Princess Bubblegum on the matter, Raven meets up with Starfire, stating she got mad because she felt Starfire was only staying with her because it was convenient.  Starfire states she likes staying with Raven because of her, and the two share a mutual kiss, which Minami and Princess Bubblegum happen to come across.  Later, the girls get together to try and help Princess Bubblegum study for her exams instead of relying on other people's notes.  After the usual methods fail due to Princess Bubblegum's tendency to fall asleep, Minami decides to use kissing to help Princess Bubblegum remember the answers she needs for the test.

Princess Bubblegum's friend, Amy Mizuno, who has never met Minami Kousaka face to face before, ends up having her glasses broken due to Princess Bubblegum.  Meanwhile, Princess Bubblegum becomes downhearted when she learns the sports festival is being downsized to a sports meet due to the school closing in three years, meaning she won't be able to do a cheering event.  Wanting to help Princess Bubblegum out, Minami and the others join the meet committee to state their case to the student council, led by Amy.  Despite some initial failure, Minami manages to build up the courage to state her plea to Amy, who considers it.  Later that day, however, Amy comes across Minami and Princess Bubblegum in a compromising situation.  Later, the girls get together to clean the pool, with Minami and Princess Bubblegum finding an opportunity to do some kissing in the pool storage.  Suspicious about the relationship between Minami and Princess Bubblegum, Amy asks their classmates, Marceline and Pinkie Pie, to keep an eye on them and make notes any suspicious behaviour.  Later, the girls get together for a test of courage, where Amy attempts to tail Minami and Princess Bubblegum, but gets mistaken by Princess Bubblegum for a ghost, leaving her so scared that she asks Minami to kiss her to calm her down.

With the cultural festival approaching, Minami Kousaka, Pinkie Pie, and Marceline go to a café with Amy Mizuno to try and convince her to join in their class' production of Snow White.  When the others arrive, Princess Bubblegum displays some displeasure in having been left behind at school, due to Minami wanting to surprise her, but the two manage to make up with each other.  Later, the girls succeed in coercing Amy into playing the role of Snow White, where she becomes paranoid about being kissed by Minami during rehearsal, only to realise it was only a speech-only play.  The girls decide to sleep over at school in order to complete their preparations for the cultural festival.  During the nighttime, Raven gets to spend some time with Starfire, whillst Minami and Princess Bubblegum also have some time together.  On the day of the festival, after a successful performance, Minami goes around the festival with Pinkie Pie and Marceline, where Pinkie Pie explains why she chose to become the class representative.  Minami and Princess Bubblegum then spend the rest of the festival together, kissing all the while.

Starfire invites the girls to swim at her family mansion's pool, where they meet Starfire's sister named Blackfire, who seems determined to have Starfire return home.  Blackfire challenges Raven to a swimming contest to decide who Starfire should stay with, which Raven ends up winning thanks to some meddling by the family maid.  Later, Princess Bubblegum decides she wants her own scarf, only to find the one she had her eye on had been bought by Raven, so Minami Kousaka goes shopping with her.  They find the scarf Princess Bubblegum wanted, only for her to choose a different one instead.  Minami invites Princess Bubblegum to join her in attending a relative's wedding, which Princess Bubblegum misinterprets as Minami asking her to marry her.  Although Princess Bubblegum is disappointed that this is not the case, Minami becomes touched by the thought of it.  On Christmas Eve, Amy Mizuno joins Minami and the others in visiting the Christmas lights, noticing that Minami and Princess Bubblegum seem to be shying away from each other.  After Minami and Princess Bubblegum become separated from the others, Minami reveals she had been shy to look Princess Bubblegum in the face because of the strong feelings she's been having, with Princess Bubblegum replying she had felt the same.

Minami Kousaka and Princess Bubblegum have a lengthy phone call leading up to the New Year, with Amy Mizuno also getting a brief opportunity to speak with Minami.  As the New Year rolls in, Princess Bubblegum gives Minami a kiss over the phone.  Later, as Amy becomes jealous of Minami and Princess Bubblegum linking arms with each other, she, along with Pinkie Pie and Marceline, follow them to a park, where they almost catch them kissing.  When Amy trips up, Minami manages to catch her, with Amy inadvertently kissing her forehead in the process.  Afterwards, Marceline talks about her experience with learning to ride a scooter whilst Pinkie Pie laments the trouble she has with her siblings.  On a snowy day, Minami and Raven go outside to have their lunch, though soon find it a bit too cold.  As Raven dreads the day when she'll have to part ways with Starfire, Minami brings Kotone over to cheer her up, encouraging everyone else to come out for a snowball fight.  Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie mentions to Amy how she believes Minami and Princess Bubblegum are dating.  Later during gym, Minami feels the need to compete against Pinkie Pie in jumprope, only for her group to end up coming last and having to clear up the equipment.  As Minami offers to do it alone and the others leave, the teacher assumes they were finished and ends up locking Minami in the gym storage.  Learning of Minami's disappearance, the girls set up a ladder to the gym storage's window, where Princess Bubblegum manages to get a kiss with Minami, before they manage to get the door unlocked.

Pinkie Pie introduces Minami Kousaka and Princess Bubblegum to Ritsu Tainaka, who is to succeed Amy Mizuno as student council president, who asks for their help in deciding what to do for Amy and student vice-president Fluttershy for their graduation.  The three of them decide to investigate the third years, finding them have a peculiar fondness for pudding, deciding on holding a 'bucket pudding contest'.  After Ritsu takes her leave, Amy and Fluttershy walk in on Minami and Princess Bubblegum kissing each other.  Despite Amy forbidding Minami from kissing Princess Bubblegum and having Pinkie Pie keep an eye on them, Minami finds ways to sneak some kisses in during dance classes.  Meanwhile, after speaking with Ritsu, Amy comes to the realization that she herself is in love with Minami.  The graduation party for Amy and Fluttershy gets underway, with everyone giving them presents.  During the party, as Princess Bubblegum gets into an argument with Amy over her kissing relationship with Minami, Amy, upon hearing that their kissing is part of a 'special friendship', confesses her love to Minami.  Following the graduation ceremony, Minami is called about Amy, who discovers Minami knows nothing about love or dating and misinterpreted Amy's confession.  Minami ends up rejecting Amy, who leaves her with just a kiss on the forehead.  Princess Bubblegum, who had been watching them, bring Minami to the old classroom, where they kiss whilst telling each other they love each other.  As the story ends, Minami and Princess Bubblegum begin their second year of school with their feelings stronger than ever.
